The Devonleigh Story

The Devonleigh Story

Having built more than 3,000 homes since its inception in 1996, Devonleigh Homes has established itself in the towns that dot the picturesque landscapes between Georgian Bay and Highway 9: Alliston, Amaranth, Angus, Beeton, Collingwood, Mansfield, Midland, Mono, Orangeville and Huntsville. Devonleigh built its first homes in Orangeville where its head office is located.

Over the years, Devonleigh Homes has developed a reputation among homebuyers, real estate professionals and contractors as a homebuilder that creates residences and neighbourhoods that nurture pride of ownership: beautiful streetscapes, tremendous curb appeal and value. Devonleigh builds a range of houses in existing communities: entry-level, homes, condominiums, townhomes, fully-detached homes, executive-estate homes and expansive custom homes. These homes are designed to complement the existing architecture and consistently increase in value, which means your Devonleigh Home is a strong investment in your family and your future.

A family-owned and operated company, the business relationships Devonleigh developed 20 years ago are still going strong. Many of the owner-operated contractors have been with Devonleigh Homes since 1996, just like many of the company’s employees. That loyalty and teamwork means everyone from the principals to the craftsmen to the staff are committed to delivering the best product and the best service, consistently. Of the more than $600 million in sales, many are from repeat and referred buyers and show how respected Devonleigh is. Devonleigh has been recognized for its commitment to quality: it was one of five finalists for a Tarion Award of Excellence in the Large Volume Category and won a Simcoe Ace Award for Excellence in a Single Family Dwelling.

A member of the national, provincial and local building associations, plus chambers of commerce, Devonleigh Homes understands the importance of affiliations and community involvement. Furthermore Devonleigh isn’t just using bricks and mortar to build communities; it contributes to many organizations that help communities grow and succeed in the areas of health care, community boosting, sports and culture. Some of the associations that have benefitted from Devonleigh’s generosity: Headwaters Health Care Foundation, Sick Kids Hospital Foundation, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Dufferin, Huntsville Minor Hockey Association, and the South Simcoe Arts Council.

Devonleigh Homes is still small enough to care and continue to deliver its vision of personalized service, yet big enough to deliver beautiful homes of exceptional quality.
